There s a year-round series of competitive fishing la push camping events designed to make things as interesting as possible for all participants, novice and veteran alike. The best-known and most popular is the Bahamas Billfish Championship Tournament, held during the spring and early summer each year at five different locations. la push camping Anglers are welcome to take part in all or as many legs as they wish. The first two legs are held in April at Bimini la push camping and Walker s Cay. In May, the tournament moves to Treasure Cay and Boat Harbour, and then ends at Chub Cay in June. Bonefish come up onto the flats in schools and can be seen first in the near distance as a dark stain in the crystal-clear water above the white sandy bottom, then as a vast, surging ripple on the surface of the water as maybe a hundred fish move like a flock of birds, this way and that, across the flats, tails cleaving the water. Then you see them, shadowy gray streaks flashing over the white sand, ghostly, moving fast.
