Shopping Hours Although shops throughout the Bahamas are now permitted to open on Sundays and some national holidays, you ll find many remain closed. In Nassau, shops open daily from 9 am until 5 pm. In Freeport/ Lucaya they open from 9 am until 8 pm, although many of the stores in the International Bazaar and at Port Lucaya stay open until 9 on Saturday evenings.
